About Turno

What is Turno?

Turno is an agent for restaurants that works by text and by phone, all on one number. Guests book, staff work and the owner runs the place by texting or calling that number, with no app to install. WhatsApp works too.

Who it is for

For restaurants, and for the three people in every one of them: the guests who want a table, the staff who run the floor and the owner who runs the place.

There is no app to install and no number to change: everything happens by text or on a call, and your own phone line stays as it is. Turno speaks English and Spanish, and picks up calls during service and after hours.

What each person does with the same number

The phone number is the account. Turno sees who is texting or calling and opens what is theirs: the guest gets their booking, the server gets the floor, the owner gets the whole place.

  • Guests

    They book, change or cancel a table; set up a group dinner and pay the deposit; flag an allergy before they arrive, and order and pay from the table. Anyone who would rather talk can call: Turno picks up the phone too.

  • Staff

    They see the sheet for the day; confirm, move or cancel bookings; seat tables and combine them; dictate an order as a voice note and mark a dish as sold out.

  • The owner

    They ask “How's tonight looking?”, change opening hours and closures, add a dish from a photo, invite a server by phone number and get the numbers for the week.

Who is texting decides the role

Nobody picks a role or remembers a password. You invite your staff by phone number; any other number comes in as a guest.
